It depends on how your refund is being sent to you. If you selected Direct Deposit (ACH), the funds are usually available within 6-7 business days after your refund is posted in the student information system.  

If you selected paper check, the checks are mailed through the US Postal Service to the mailing address listed in the student information system. Allow up to 10 business days after you see the refund posted on your student information system account.

You will receive an email from Nelnet Campus Commerce/TMS notifying you that your refund is being processed. If you received that email and the time frame to expect your refund noted above has passed, please contact Nelnet Campus Commerce/TMS for your refund status at (888) 425-1138.

If you made payment via QuikPay and are due a refund, your refund will be returned to the same credit/debit card used when the payment was made. Funds are usually available 3-4 business days after your refund is posted in the student information system.

Note: Only the amount paid using the QuikPay payment method is returned to the card. The remainder (if the balance was paid via other methods like financial aid), is sent to the preferred method selected by the student.

Certain state grants and tuition refunds may take an additional 3-5 business days.  A business day is considered to be Monday through Friday.
